Angela & Shern’s Wedding

Based on Latreia’s handling of a past Alpha Course as well as my friendship with the groom, I was asked to help with managing the necessary arrangements for the tea reception at Angela & Shern’s wedding held in church on the 19th Jul 2008. A number of us in the CG were invited to the much anticipated event. I know that the couple would have loved to invite everyone in the entire church but eventually budget and space constraints meant that they had to limit their invitations to family, relatives, close friends, colleagues and etc.
I never got to look at the actual wedding service and reception itself as I was pretty much busy with various things. The photos are available on my Picasaweb account but here’s a slide show containing some pics I took of the wedding.. from a helper’s perspective.

I originally posted this on my blog and dedicated it to someone dear in my life but I liked it so much, I thought I’d share it with the rest of you..
We walked down that aisle together.
We vowed to be together..
.. to have and to hold, from this day forward,
.. for better, for worse,
.. for richer, for poorer,
.. in sickness or in health,
.. to love and to cherish
.. ’till death do us part.
We laughed, we cried; And despite all we have gone through, I still find you by my side – my partner, my equal; my friend; my loved one.
